Web4 dec. 2024 · I was diagnosed with 3 liver hemangiomas. I thought I was just gaining weight and could not figure out why. After CT scan and MRI it was confirmed they were hemangiomas. The 2 on my left lobe were giant and required a liver resection. I had the entire left lobe of my liver removed in October, 2015. The hemangioma weighed 2 pounds. WebRecently I have been having upper abdominal pain and went for an ultrasound. The ultrasound found something that the doctor says is a hemangioma. I was wondering how sure he can be with the finding through an ultrasound and also if it could be cancerous. The hemangioma is on my liver and is 2.2 cm.
