WebThe Kaypro 16 uses a foam and foil keyboard mechanism. Unfortunately, the foam tends to rot, which means keys will no longer actuate. Try replacing the foam. I think there are people who sell replacement foam and foil pads. It is entirely fixable. Also, make sure the XT to PS/2 converter is an active cable. If it is passive, it will not work.
