I've tried the TP-1R 50 and 60 and the TAD 60 and 80, I settled on the larger TAD shape 80 strength as I feel the harder pick gets through the strings with less effort. I've picked up most from the Cafe and another guitar forum and sold the few I didn't like.

And Bluechip picks are also coded simply; it's just that they are in thousandths of an inch. A Wegen TF120 meaning 1.20mm isn't any simpler than TAD-40 meaning .040". I think you will be happy with the 35 thickness, I use that for rock gauge strings, the 40 for jazz and the 50 for acoustic.
